Intervention type: Decorating with mosaics and Starlike on the cover of a box

Implementation procedure:
This box was an experiment that I wanted to do in order to create something new: I applied the mosaic to the cover to give it an unusual look, creating a combination that I'd never seen before.
To achieve this result, I gave the box a cover in MDF and I carved the pantograph in the middle to a depth equal to the thickness of the mosaic.
To fix the mosaic and grout it, I used Litokol Starlike® epoxy plaster that proved to be the best product from those tested given that I could not use a traditional water-based plaster that would come in contact with wood. The box was previously lacquered in white.

Materials for grouting the joints: Starlike® Bianco Assoluto (Absolute White)
